I just located a Steyr M95 "cavalry" (I believe).

19" bbl, left side sling loops, stacking lug, bayonette lug, short rear ladder sight.

Blond wood, matching SNs. Tight action. Bore looks OK without a light. Crown good.

Marked STEYR M95 on the breach. SN range 28xx Couldn't see any overstampings.

He's asking $250. Is that reasonable?

The local gun shop has about a half dozen of these 1895 Steyr carbines on the rack for about $125.00. Hope this helps. Take care...
