can anyone help? I have just started loading 44 mag for Marlin underlever using red dot. I am upto 6 grain but feel I can load heavier with 200gr lead. Does anyone know what is the top end loading.

Check out the data at the Alliant web site.

Iowaloha katys dad. Jack's suggestion is a good one. There is lots of "good" data on the web from the powder manufacturers. Very easy to find. I suggest that you stick with reputable sources. I don't care to post load data on the web myself. Must consider what "might happen" if I made a typo.

Stay safe. Welcome to Shooters Forum :) .

If you're looking for more velocity, why not try a slower powder?
