Often times I will that Marlin would bring out the 1894 .357 Mag. in stainless. I bought one of the LTD's and gave it to a dear friend, who reports it as having GREAT flexibility. I have long thought this to be a great little carbine for tasks too numerous to mention. I truly would have several if they would bring them out with 16, 18, 20, and 24 inch barrels.
What do you guys think?

I've got an 1894C in .357 and I like that little rifle. Wouldn't mind one in 24 inch. Think my next should be something in .45 Colt though.

How about Marlin just make some more of them? Most people who have them hang on to them, theyre versatile and so I cant get my hands on one - theyre scarce as hen's teeth. Anybody got one I can buy, used?

With a pistol grip style stock! Yeah, I'd love one if it had the pistol grip style stock.

Over on "Marlinowners" forum while discussing the Marlin 1894C as well as the 1894 CB in 357 ( no longer made ), one of the members over there mentioned that Marlin will be making another run of the 1894 CB in 357 sometime this year. I don't know when, how many, etc.

I have a 1894C that is really fun. I would love one in stainless. I also have 1894Cowboys in .357 and .45 Colt and a 1894 in .44 mag. I like them all. I haven't done hard core tests, but they are all accurate. They just required a little smoothing to make them really nice.

They don't give an email address on their website. So, lets write them the old-fasioned way and tell them what we would like to see them make. My letter goes out tomorrow morning.....Later,B.

Making a lever action out of stainless steel is like putting rhinestones on the Queen of England!

So.... I'm confused. Are you in favor of it, or against it????

And, if you do go to the trouble to contact Marlin, ask them to please bring back the 1894M .22 Magnum. I'd like mine blued with a 18"bbl, pistol grip stock, no checkering, AND NO D@$% SAFETY....... ;) .......Later,B.
