Hi all:
Just thought you might like to see a Kansas deer I shot in 1999:

That is my dog Boy standing over him.
And here is my neighbor Scott Haggerty with his buck he shot that same year less than a mile from my place.

Here is a pic of my private range which I show because that deer I shot was in the creek bottom right behind it in this pic.

The pretty green stuff is wild winter wheat. We call it Cheat. It grows everywhere here and deer just adore it.
Slightly off topic but here is a pic of the winners of the field trials in Dodge City, Kansas last weekend.

This pic I took at the Dodge City Trap Club. Oh btw they had a trap marathon at Dodge today which I shot in. It was 500 shots, which was basically 20 rounds.
And while I'm on the topic of the Dodge Trap Club here is a pic inside the clubhouse I took last weekend:

And pardon all the clubhouse shots but here is the Kiowa Gun Club in Greensberg Kansas where I shot two weeks ago:

And whilel I am talking of Kansas here is a wild sunflower I took a pic of last September here on my place:

Of course Kansas if famous for them (and tornadoes) lol.
And forgive me but here is a pic my wife just loves that I took. It is wild purple vetch growing in the ditch just down the road from me last September:

I must be tired but I can't resist posting this pic. It is just a sunflower again but notice the little bee on the way to it?
http://photos1.blogger.com/hello/287/3033/1024/IMGP1024.jpg
I better not post any more pics of Kansas since I am now WAY off topic. Sorry but I hope I gave you a tiny glimpse of the beauty of Kansas.
