Ok ok so it is an assault weapon. It's still one of my fave rifles. I just got a couple cheap ones. Both are romanians. But I went mad and started stuffing things on it. Here is a pic:

I bought the stock for about 50, the light and laser for 25, and the panoramic for 25. So I got about 380 in it. I set the light and laser off like that so I can lean it in a corner to grab if needed. Finally started seeing the ammo for it again so I ordered 2000 rounds. But it won't last long. lol

PS Heck as long as I am posting pics here's my SKS too:

Wow, you sure add a new dimension to the term " black gun".

Nice pics of nice weapons.

Are they good shooters? I find my SKS a little less of a shooter than I expected. It was new in box when I got it.

Tapco manufactures the stocks shown in the pics. They are offered in black, tan, OD green, and camo. I have a OD green stock for my SKS. The stock is a little loose, but it is much easier to get comfortable than the short little original stock.

Bigbore, when you describe it as loose....do you mean the fit between the two major pieces of the retractable section?.....or just the general fit of the entire unit?
