See Page 154... I think we WON!!!!!

It's a long read, but funny in a sad sort of way.

The comments are overwhelmingly in favor of Pistol Caliber Rifles (PCRs)

The "against" comments range from sad to silly to coordinated/anti.

Go look for your own comments. They are all in there - everyone here will recognize mine/my style.

Thanks for your help everyone! :drinks:

Thanks for this. I'd forgotten in the press of other duties.

It is interesting that the DNR has been allowed to put some genuine thought and scientific consideration into the matter. Kukos to the DNR. Now, when can I get the 45/70 legal?

Probably not for a long time, if ever.

Not because the 45/70 is "bad" - and the DNR admits such - but because the only "practical" way to write this rule was based on case dimensions. A cartridge list would be too cumbersome and open the DNR up to challanges.

Volume of Powder necessairly restricts range - even of wildcats, and the easiest way to restrict volume is to restrict case size.

I think they did a pretty solid job of justifying their reasoning. That it restricts the .35Rem, .30-30, .444, .45/70 is too bad, but understandable.
