I have some Bullseye and WST powder. Lots of experience reloading 45 ACP for Bullseye competition but know nothing of .40 cal loads.

Recommendations?

I have used 5.0g of Bullseye under a 155gr LRN bullet with good results. If you want data for a jacketed bullet, let me know, I have the load data at home (at work now).

What I don't understand is that I shoot a nice 230g .45 ball with only 3.5 of Bullseye and get great groups and fantastic accuracy. Why so much more powder with such a smaller bullet and case or is that what you use and works great? I notice powder weights flunctuate with bullet weight with no (I would have thought smaller round less powder.

Please educate the new guy. Thank you all advance.
