I shoot .357 Blazer in my 1894C Marlin and it works just fine. I thought it might have problems with extraction because it doesn't have an extractor groove, but it works fine anyway. Now I polish the chambers of my Marlins to make sure they feed and extract.

i don`t know if polishing the chamber on mine would work but i might try it,when it does chamber one of these rounds it isn`t very loud and no recoil, pleasant to shoot, what do you recommend i polish it with fine steel wool or what?

In the past, I have polished the chambers of a couple of Marlins using a patch on a brush held in a long rod and powered by an electric drill. The rods I have used are rods from the Brownell's .22 barrel forcing cone kit. You can use other combinations, like a wooden dowel or aluminum rod. The idea is a fairly tight patch, but something that still has a little spring to it. On the patch I use JB Bore scrubber. It is a mild abrasive. It will polish the chamber without destroying it. I’m sure there are other things that would work just as well. You don’t want to get carried away with excess enthusiasm here. A little goes a long way.

Steel wool could work if it is fine enough.

If you have a segmented cleaning rod, you could take a piece of it and put a slightly smaller brush in it and wrap it with a couple of patches. Then use JB Bore Scrubber or any other mild abrasive on the patch. Stick it in an electric drill and go for it.

JB Bore Scrubber is available from Brownell's if you can't find it locally.
