I have an Encore and shoot 454 Cassull, 450 Marlin and now have a 375 JDJ barrel. Only the 450 has a muzzle brake. It is by far the easiest to shoot, least painful to my hands.

I am going to put a muzzle brake on the 375 but was wondering if anyone has experience with different grips. It has the factory rubber grips which seem to be OK but I would like something that fit my hands better.

Other revolvers I use have the Uncle Mike's grips that seem to be easier on the hands.

Comments?

try a pachmayer (not sure if thats the way its spelled)
i have them on my contenders, 45-70, 420gr. lfn @1200, nice recoil. it can be shot a lot because the grip has a real soft cusion for the web or the hand. your hand does not get sore, just shakes a bit after a box or 2. btw the ones i have have finger grooves also.
