Hey guys, I put this in Southeast hunting, since it was killed in Alabama.
I bet that thing tastes awful, that's all I've got to say! Whatta big piggie.

You are right, that's where it belongs. Didn't want to imply that it was killed anywhere that I hunt.
If I would have seen it on our ranch, I would have thought it was just an ugly cow!

Some of us in this part of the country have a few questions about these "Hogzilla" shootings. Most believe that they are farm bred hogs that "wandered" off the farm. It has been custom for pig farmers in this part of the country to sometimes allow their livestock to roam.

This is the third article I have seen about huge hogs. My post talks about a similar hog who weighed in at about 1,000 lbs. What the heck is causing these freaks? They are almost too horrible to think about. Imagine running into them unarmed while on a family picnic or just a walk with the wife in the woods and meeting hogzilla!
Wow. I don't understand how a pig can get that big. That thing must eat constantly.

How appropriate, none other than the "Hog Whisperer". You go months without even a mention of the big porkers and all of a sudden they are all over the forum. Man, I still shudder when I think of those real life monsters wandering on American soil. They even make a Grizzly look like a small animal!!
Mike, do you have any in your neck of the woods? Heck we don't even have wild feral hogs of any kind (yet) in Maine!

Any hog that can be followed around for 3 hours and shot 16 times is not likely to be wild, nor free ranging.
