Bill Green on his Channel 6 show had a piece on the fact that our hunting laws has been amended to allow cross bow hunting during the regular firearm season in Maine. Prior to this only disabled people were allowed use of the cross bow. Some folks object saying because the cross bow differs from a regular bow and arrow because it has a TRIGGER it should be treated as a firearm!

I guess we are going back to the Middle Ages when some countries outlawed cross bows because they were too EVIL a weapon.

Oh well what goes around comes around!;)

I have heard others using a compound bow say that a crossbow was not a primitive weapon.
