Has anyone found #10 & #11 replacement nipples for Uberti and Pietta Cap & Ball revolvers that actually fit the caps properly? My Pietta Remington uses #11 caps (loosely) and my Uberti Colt uses #10 (tightly). Neither one will use the other properly either. I'm sure there are some properly sized nipples around. I generally use CCI caps because they're available but I've tried Remington with the same result.

I have a Pietta 1858 remington, it came with a tin of 11's which work but sometimes fall off. I finally found a tin of CCI 10's and they fit much better. Don't expect them to go on as far as the 11's did. The 10's are a bit deeper but seem to hang on quite well. They are a ball to shoot. Even my wife shot it and she REALLY doesn't like guns. She does like history, so we guilted her into trying it as she teaches a unit about the civil war to 5th graders. Also check those nipples with a nipple wrench as they do sometimes come loose
