Does anyone have loading information for 6.5 X 55 ackley? Thanks

As with any AI cartridge, you can always start about midrange with the recommended loadings for the parent cartridge and slowly work up in increments to determine what your particular rifle will like best. To my knowledge there is no published data of current value for this cartridge. P.O. Ackley himself never wildcatted this case. The closest is the 6.5x55 Improved Arch. The listing for this cartridge in P.O. Ackley's Vol. 1 of Handbook for Shooters and Reloaders contain information on powders/loads of many years back and not to current powders.

this cartridge is a favorite of mine. i have been getting spectacular results with ramshot magnum and the 130gr tsx. i use 55 grs and get about 2950 fps. case life is real good and the accuracy is simply spectacular. most 5 shot groups will have 4 shots in one oblong hole and the 5th shot mabey .25 out. i'm on my 3rd box of these bullets and this seems to be the norm.
