I wish I had some pretty pictures, since I don't ya'll can look at these.
This was a heck of a dove shoot, maybe 1973, not many doves around here these days, thats me on the right, my dad to the left and cousin in the middle. I think I may have shot one out of a pine tree.

My cousin John's first deer, I sure looked up him. Hated he moved back to Tennessee. Killing a deer, even a doe was something in those days.

Think it never snows in Georgia? A picture of me and our farm during the "Blizzard of '73"

Great pics,
I remember when our dove hunting was great around town as a kid. We just don't have the birds like we use too.
Good Luck

Great pics Ken, and the snow pic for GA seems foreign to me. I've always wanted to go dove hunting, but with the season here in September, seems I'm always out scouting bulls and bucks. I've heard they are fairly good-eating birds - better (a lot) than ducks, but not quite there compared to chukars.

Doves are good but I would rather have duck anytime.

I think that was a 1 in 200 year snow. We seldom get any accumulation south of Atlanta though usually will at least see a snowflake every winter. :)

Great pictures Ken and a good idea. I'm going to look for some of my early ones and put them on the scanner.

Ranchdog, these pictures were from old slides. My brother took them somewhere and had them put on a CD. I don't think it cost a whole lot.
