The current issue of Guns magazine has an article on these WWII military rifles. I managed to pick up two of them at very low prices and they were in mint condition.

I've enjoyed owning a MAS 36 for many years.
It remains my favorite bolt action military rifle. Hard to say why, but the the sights are fast to accuire and the action is very fast to cycle.
A robust and accurate rifle.
