Hi guys always wanted a Bursa Thunder 380 and now that I've gotten my CCW I was thinking about picking one up for occasional carry, just want to know if I can safety use Magsafe ammo occasionally for defensive purposes, read that it actually blew up a couple of Kel Tec's P3AT's wonder if there would be a problem with occasional use in the Thunder. Thanks

My personal opinion stay away from magsafe and any other new or old super killer / stopper rounds. Stick with good old premium JHP. And yes I know opinions are like well you get the picture.

Just get yourself some good SD round and forget those GEEWIZ bullets! Mine just loves 90 gr Gold Dots-reloads of course! WWB 95gr FMJ work very well too.

So you feel that's enough to get the job done I know a friend uses them in his Makarov, but that thing is made like a tank. Want to use the Bersa for concealed carry when I want to go light.

With the .380 i would be inclined to go with fmj factory rds. The .380 hp in my opinion is questionable in penetration/expansion as it is when pushed at std .380 velocities.

There is no such thing as 380+P, according to SAAMI

Magsafe 380 loads are +P I believe Cor-bon also makes one. +P loads by definition just means that they has been loaded to a higher internal pressure than is standard for ammunition of its caliber, but less than the pressures generated by a proof round. Firearms manufactures will usually tell you if it's safe to use +P loads in their handguns, I was just wondering what Bersa's policy was on this.
