I finally received my new Glock 26. I took the pistol out to check for accuracy. I shot from a bench using a rest. The target was 15 measured yards from the pistol rest. Ammo used was Winchester white box 115 FMJ. The target used has a two inch red square surrounded by a five inch square border line. Attached is a photo of the target. I felt the accuracy was pretty good. Opinions are welcome. Thank you.

Looks like pretty good shootin Kermit. You going to carry that for a self defense gun?

How do you like that white box stuff I heard it was kind of dirty. Thanks maybe I'll have to pickup some how much does it run anyway.

The G26 will be used as an off duty / backup gun. I carry a G19 on duty.

The Winchester white box seems fairly clean shooting to me. I've had good luck with it. Generally seems to be pretty accurate. I get mine at Wally World. Bought it Saturday, and it was $16.85 tax included. I'm still on the fence about whether to buy some 9mm dies and reload. At this point I'm not sure if it's worth reloading or not. A couple of friends who also reload feel it's not really economical enough yet to bother reloading the 9mm and it's cheaper just to buy it at Wally World and shoot it, don't worry about the empty brass, and just enjoy the shooting.

Ammo is going way up in price. Save the brass. 9mm fired brass was about 12 to 15 bucks a thousand a year ago and is now up to 35 to 40. The 100 rd box at Wally World was about 10 bucks a year ago. Good choice on the G26. Ive had one since they came out. Check out Andrews Custom Leather for a good IWB rig. I had a G17 for a duty gun and the G26 was nearly as accurate. Only dropped a few points on qualifying.

I like my G26 also. I have an ankle holster I like to use. I got to much inside my belt now. I use the 147 grain loads because that is what I trained with for years and like the way it shoots. For practice I will shoot just about anything cheap which ain't a whole lot now.
