No parts can I find for a AA Arms Kimmel AP9 and parts internally are compatable the a ITEC only the magazines. So I have decided to weld the cast firing pin carrier (which is broken) to the firing pin. There is slop caused by breakage and I have a choice of when the firing pin comes out and strikes the primer how far it will come out of the bolt face.

What is the standard to set off the primer with out punching a hole in the primer. .25mm - .50mm - 1mm or should the dome on the end of the firing pin protude and just a smidge of the flat rounded side of the firing pin.

Also welding tips for bar stock machined and blue to cast machines and blue metal parts.
