The fish was 22" long hanging with mouth open and weighed in at around 6 Lbs, I caught it on a 5' ultralight rod with 20lb spiderwire stealth (hey, its only 6lb diameter) I caught it out of my kayak in an undisclosed location on a 4" watermelon tube

Have you ever seen the "Earnest" movie where he opens his closet to pick out his clothes and it is full of the same clothes? yeah, its kinda like that, I have a whole drawer full of grey pocket tees, the hat IS different, the avatar pic has my Lucky Blue Cabela's hat, my wife gives me dirty looks when I wear it, she made me get a new blue cabela's hat one of the last times we where out there, that is the one in the picture. Of course, in light of recent events, maybe all of my blue Cabela's hats are lucky, although the old one was signifcantly luckier until my wife washed it :(

jb, I know the feeling of a good hat and familiar T-shirts. When my T's develop enough holes in them, that my better half threatens clandestine removal, they become gun cleaning patches. Hats? Fire, or burial. :p

Did you eat that fine fish?

Kayaks are a nice way to stream or lake fish aren't they? Know a couple friends crazy enough to halibut fish in them, but not me.
