Well I was building a Rem 700 in 300 win mag but got a call from my brother about a really nice Winchester XTR in 300 H&H I needed to see. He told me it was on clearance and I would want it. I drove a long time and there it was in 99% and a price tag of $215.00. The guy behind the counter said they wanted it gone because the ammo costs to much. I took it. I checked Midway but not much there other than Nosler custom. I will reload for it but wanted to try some factory ammo also. Dies and brass ordered on e-bay but wanted to know some pet loads for it. I got it for elk and such and planning on 200 gr bullets. Not a bad deal huh? I hope.

Go take a look here in our loadswap section Deuce, I believe there are a couple of 200 grain loads. I used to shoot a 308 Norma mag and though I never used any of the 200 grain bullets had really good luck with the 180's

There's a weekly gun show here in my town in SW Ohio. Saturday there was a dealer with 2+ boxes of factory ammo, both Remington and Winchester. I think I have a box or two in the garage just taking up space as well. If you still need some factory ammo, I'll work for you to get what's available here. Send me a PM and we'll make arrangements.
