Hi,
I have recently purchased a Beretta Tomcat. I used it only 3 times firing 100/50/100 rounds. It seems to be picky about the ammo I'm using. I tried Win 32 ACP and I got 1 jam out of 2 magazines. I tried Remington - even worse. Best luck with Federal (American Eagly 32 ACP round nose) 1 out of 50 rounds.

After the last use I cleaned just like after each use. I tipped up the barrel removed the slide and cleaned everything that is accessible. After putting back everything the barrel lock completly jammed. The only way I could turn it if I almost broke my finger. Once I finally magaged to turn it to unlocked position the barrel still did not come up and everything got jammed and locked.

I returned it to the authorized Beretta dealer and now it is on the way back to Beretta to figure out what went wrong.

Anybody seen anything like that with the Tomcat?

Welcome to the forum zbordas. Rules are simple, be nice and join in.

Beretta has a pretty good record for repairing their guns. I hope it comes back ready to shoot and not jam. If this was a used gun it sounds like there could have been some abuse before you got it that helped cause the problem.

Let us know when you get it back how it works and how good Beretta was dealing with a repair problem.
