Just bought myself a S&W M&P 45. I must say that S&W has really improved their image and quality ever since they were purchased back from the British. Yeah, they had that deal with Clinton. But those were bad years period. Anyways....

I love this pistol. It's just like my GLOCK 22 but it's chambered in .45 ACP. Sure, it only has a magazine capacity of 10 rounds but it's not a huge think grip like my GLOCK 21 or a super long grip like the Springfield XD-45.

Best of all I payed $430.00 out the door. Base price was $398, plus7% tax and $5 background fee. It came with three magazines instead of the normal two magazines that come with it. All in all. I think I made out like a bandit.

RANGE REPORT

Well folks, I shot my S&W M&P 45 today. I must say that it's one well built pistol. Accurate, easy to handle, little muzzle flip and felt recoil.

My first three magazine through the pistol were slow and simple. Just seeing how the pistol handles and how it is in accuracy. Well, at the seven and fifteen yard line. It's one accurate pistol. Just a big raged hole in the center of the target.

Next came three magazines of defensive shooting. double taps and rapid shooting. She was accurate and did not jam at all.

The final four magazine through it were Winchester Ranger SXT 230gr JHP. The ammunition that I will carry in it. Once again, I started slow and steady but kicked it into high gear. No FTFs or FTEs. Accurate and little felt recoil.

This pistol is now going on my hip without any due haste.

Smith & Wesson really has a good product on their hands.
