I am working on a 6 ppc to be put into a 700 SA. I will need to open up the bolt face from a .222 rem with a .378 case head to the ppc with a .445 head. just wondered how hard it will be to open up the bolt face and install a Sako extractor, vs. an aftermarket bolt head and soldering together.

Also if I can open it up easily, to what I/D? i know I'll need some play for the shell to clear but how much?
