It sounds like you may hunt a few coyotes from your screen name. I've been doing that out here in Idaho for the last 40 plus years.

I shoot both a 243 and a 204 Ruger for coyotes. Just got a new CZ Varmint in 204 Ruger.

I used to drive thru Indiana when I was trucking. Never seen so much corn in my life, especially for an Idaho boy. One question though where did all the raccoons come from. Sure lots of dead ones on the freeways out there.

Can't say as I've ever been to Indiana, maybe over it once in an airplane. Can't be a whole lot different than Iowa :D

Very few 'yotes here in Jersey, but they are on the rise. No seaeson on them, nor regs here. We are a shotgun only state, could be tough to make the Remington shoot over 100yds:p
Where I hunt in upper Vermont, they have Coy-dogs, a cross of feral dogs and 'yotes. Have only seen them once or twice, but allegedly they hunt in packs and can dessimate sheep herds and other livestock. VT law is to kill them on sight, no licence required, any time of year.
