To help everyone with correct pronunciation, here is a little assistance. Nukalpiaq (Nu-guth-pac), guth is pronounced like Guthrie without the "rie".

Just to up date this post a bit. The reamer has arrived. After several dimensional changes and recaluclation of it's ballistic capabilities, it is finally "set in stone" or maybe "high carbon tool steel," as the reamer is made. Quotes for custom loading dies from Redding were higher than expected and I'll be getting quotes from RCBS as well as 4D.

I am toying with the idea of rebarreling a Sako AV 338 WM rifle to this new 35. I do have an FN Mauser action that would work but I bought it for another wildcat. Decisions! In the meantime the reamer is available for rent/loan to your gun smith if anyone is interested in this fine caliber.

It's ballistic capabilities are; 250 grain at 2850 to 2900 fps. Or the great 280 grain Swift A-frame at 2650 fps. A real performer, and worthy of its name.

Are you the one making the remers for this Cartridge? What did Dave quote you for the Dies?

Sounds like the cartridge is going to run with my 358STA?

Should be able to come close to the 358-330 Dakota. It pretty well matches the STA, with a .540" base and standard length.

No I don't make reamers, Dave Manson is making all my reamers now. He has always done a fine job and a great guy to work with.
