I shot, and reloaded for an AYA 10 ga 3 1/2' double for some years. The best hulls at the time were Remington. The best reloader was (is) the Ponsness-Warren 375 (I still have the tooling). The best all around powder is Blue Dot.
Ballistic Products has some excellent printed data for 10 gauge reloading.
And......I agree we the post on the 3 1/2" gun. I have a Remington 3 1/2" 12 ga Super Magnum. While I don't think it will pattern quite as even as the 10 ga with 2 1/2' loads, the fact it will shoot fairly well with all lengths of 12 ga shells is a plus.
