I have wanted to send in my favorite bisley to Bown to get the Nimrod conversion done for several years. After holding a 44 special conversion he built my Pop earlier this ear I finally could wait no longer. I sold a week of vacation back to my company to pay for half, figuring I had six months minimum to come up with the rest. Well I shipped it two weeks ago and I got a letter today saying the balance was due, the gun was done but for the front sight. Thats off at thier engraver getting two gold bars inlaid, and it will ship in a couple weeks!

Never thought he'd be done this quick. Its the full conversion with over sized 5-shot cylinder new pac-nor barrel and line bored.

Congrats. I've got a Bowen 500 Linebaugh built on a Redhawk and it is really nice.

There's lots of great pistolsmiths out there today, but I don't think there are any better than Bowen.
