i have a 12 gauge roll crimper, now i need a press for loading slugs, i need any info, on how to set up for it. loads, best press etc. etc. thank you
Any single-stage press shoud do you. I use a MEC 600jr or a MEC Sizemaster, whichever one I happen to sit down at. Press to de-prime & size, seat primer. Then I drop the powder charge from my powder measure. Back to the press to seat the wad.
I mostly reload the LEE slug now, uses a folded crimp. Loads for that particular slug are in the Alliant booklet and their website. The only change I make to their load data is I put a hard card wad into the shotcup under the slug.
I used to load regular Foster slugs, a friend had a mold for them, then I roll crimped. The LEEs shoot better for me.

I don't use a press. I buy straight walled primed hulls so there is no need to resize and prime. I weigh my powder, dump it in , add overpowder seal and cards wads and then my sabot and slug. I use a bullet starter to ram the wads down firmly. Then I roll crimp them. I load mostly CCS sabots with HP/XTP hornady bullets. They are very very accurate. I use the same procedure for the lyman slugs but I much prefer the CCS Sabot slugs.
