hi outthere, has anybody got sdvise on using steelshot, somepeople swear by it, some say it will trash my gun ? whats the deal ?

hi,thanks for the reply, the gun in question is a remington sp10,with 2 chokes supplied mod and full both have steel written on them,as you say there are other alternatives but as always cost is an issue, i live in the u,k. and i know that non toxic is exspensive in the u.s. but over here its double and more. anyway thanks again.

You should be fine using those chokes with steel shot. The problem with people having their guns ruined with steel was simply folks shooting it in guns that were not design for it like your Remington is.
