Just got home from my Deer hunt. Got a little 4X3 Blacktail. We were at 6500 feet in 70 degree weather and back-packed out the boned meat, I'm getting old! I'm going to teach the young kid next door how to hunt so he can be my Mule! My brother came down from Alaska at the last minute, so it was a great family get together. I'll post some pics when I get them back. Headed back over with the kids for some camping now, man is it dusty! Their gonna be dirty. :)

Not a huge one, but one of the best shots on game I've ever made. With the J.C. Higgins in 30-06, 180 gr Nosler.

It's not a Blacktail, and it's not a Muledeer. It's a Hybrid. They are almost exclusively like this where I hunt. Sometimes you see some that are more Muledeer and somtimes more Blacktail. But most are a 50/50 mix. Strange!
