Well some one nice enough to leave about 20+ pieces of Frontier '06 brass along with four live rounds! The live rounds look like 165gr and have a red plastic tip! Have anyone reloaded these cases? Did a search but couldn't find anything on the net.

From Hornady.com:

Since not all hunters and shooters are reloaders, in 1964, Hornady introduced its line of Frontier ammunition, which was manufactured using surplus military brass. The initial offering was five different cartridges. However the Viet Nam war caused a shortage of military brass, so the ammunition began to be loaded with new brass cases.

I used some Hornady/Frontier brass in my Ruger 77V .220 Swift when I got it in 1985, and for a few years after.

I later bought a bunch of Norma brass cheap that had sat on a shelf for years, but the Frontier was all I could find at first for the Swift (they factory loaded the .220 Swift with, I think, 55 grain SP and 60 grain HP bullets).

Seemed fine to me.

Well when I did a search all I could find was "Frontier Cartridge Company Inc., Grand Island, NE 68801 " But they don't have a web site!
These rounds don't look 30+ years old? Unless they were stored in air tight boxes! And the bullets have pastic tips -they didn't have these back in the '70's!

Hornady has used the "Frontier" name on their cartridges more recently than that. I have some brass around here, somewhere, that is marked as such (think a friend gave it to me).
