Hey you guys. I am wanting a self-defense shotgun and i kinda had my eye on the Benelli M4. i was wondering what you people would suggest for me to get, also loads? #4 buckshot, 00 or 000 just wondering. I also was wondering does anyone have any expeirence with laser sights and tactical lights/mounts. one more thing are the side saddle shell holders anything more then a peice of crap. thanks in advance for the advice.

I keep a shotgun in the bedroom, it's sole purpose being to keep anyone from coming through the door. If I shoot it empty I will transition to my 625 which is in the head board rather than trying to reload the shotgun. So is a sidesaddle ammo carrier needed? No. Loads in mine are Federal reduced recoil OO buckshot, this load works fine in the Benelli shotguns. I think lasers are mostly toys but I do know some who like them, I would prefer a surefire flashlight with a momentary on switch.
