hello everybody, i`m shooting a 223 , ruger m77 with a 22 bbl. I`m using 27.5 gr of varget. I`m wondering those of you who use the same combination , what for velocity are you getting? BTW i`m using a 55 gr bullet.

I'm shooting a Ruger M77MkII V/T .223 Rem with a 24" bbl. Using a 52 gr HP, 26.5 gr Varget (all I can get in the case comfortably) and a BR4 primer, I'm clocking 3150 fps.

I am using a Savage 12FV. 27 grains of Varget and a 55 gr Sierra Blitz king gives me an average of 3165 fps. My most accurate load is 21.5 gr H4198 and a 55 gr Sierra Blitzking at 3200 fps out of the Savage 12FV with a 1 in 9 twist. If I do my part they will all go in one hole.
