Wanted to try Reloader 25 with some 165 and 180 grain bullets. Wondered if anyone has had good groups and velocity with this powder in the 300 WBY. Any suggestions? I was just looking thru the new Speer Manual 14 and I see they have it listed at the top of the velocity food chain in their new manual for the 165 and 180 grain bullets for the 300 WBY...TIA.

My manuals show that RL-25 is right in there. I can't offer any personal experience with the Weatherby cartridge though. The data that I see suggests that the 180 might prefer it over the 160.
It is sure worth a try for both weights.

Welcome to the forum Jim. Rules are simple, be nice and join in.
I haven't used it for the 300 Weatherby, but it works very well for the 300 Ultra-mag with 180 grain bullets. Some bullet/powder combinations work very well in an individual gun. You'll just have shoot it to see what it will do. It seems like I've been chasing the perfect bullet/powder/load combination most of my life. Keep good records and they eventually come to you.
Let us know how it works out.
