I was wondering if any of you might have a clue as to what kind of powder, or something close to what winchester factory loads in 7wsm with 150 gr power point. I have been working for a long time trying to get this piece to shot with no real progress. The only good results i've gotten have been with Magpro powder. These results are still not as good as factory loads witch shot 1'' at 200 yards. PLEASE HELP.

Used RL 19 with good results-either 150 or 165 gr bullets.

The cartridge manufacturers use powders that are not cannister powders that are available to us reloaders. They even blend different powders to obtain what they establish as benchmark pressures and velocities.

The best is to check the reloading manuals for recommended loads that approach what your factory ammo does and work from there. One cavat - the lighter the bullet, the faster the powder, the heavier the bullet the slower the powder.
