What do you guys think of the buyout of T/C by Smith and Wesson? I think it can only be good for T/C as now they will have the marketing potential and research and development dollars from Smith & Wesson...

I always used to think that Savage rifles were ugly, but the new Smith rifle just tops out all the other bolt guns as being the ugliest. Can't say what it is, but it just isn't right. Might be a great shooter, but you wouldn't catch me in the woods with one.

I don't mind most any wood stock gun (I'm not crazy about any all weather stocks) but any synthetic gun takes the cake for ugly... ick.

Hate to hear about the S&W thing.
Why ? The next time S&W caves to pressure from the Klinton white house,I'll have to stop buying T/C's as well.
