Hey guys, I posted this in someone elses enfield thread, so maybe this will get some more traffic. Anyway, I just mounted my B-square scope mount on my no.4 MK1 .303 and used the rings that came with the mount and mounted my scope..and the scope was twisted like clockwise, if you were looking down at it from the top, the hardware that came with it is trash, i'm going to lowes today to find my own hardware to mount it, probably some black allen head bolts and anodized nuts or something..it could be the hardware, but anyway..its mounted to the gun solid, and I tried to different sets of rings..and its sits the scope (Bushnell Banner) the same way..I'm kinda' angry that I paid $70 for this mount and it isn't straight. I could take a picture but it would be hard to see in a pic, I think.

B-Square makes high quality mounts and I have used them for years without a problem. Have you contacted B-Square about the problem? They should be able to assist you. All the best...

Is there any reason you can't roll the scope in the mounts? I assume the base is canted to the right when it's installed? You may find that having the scope canted puts the rifle in a more comfortable position, particularly when shooting
That B-Square mount looks like it's way too high for my liking. There was a lower setup available about 40 years ago, which I have on my No.4 Mk. I/2. A plate replaced the rear sight and a Weaver base was screwed to it. The front receiver ring was drilled and tapped for another Weaver base. This gives a 1.8" high line of sight (centre of scope) to bore distance. Nice.
Bye

Well..it might be more comfortable if you're a righty, but i'm a lefty so its makes alittle bit more awkward..I haven't contacted B-square yet, but i probably will..or just see if I can file alittle off the inside clamp of a set of rings, and maybe off the front right of the > of the mount and see if I can get it to move it just enough to make it almost seem right.
