i put a red dot on my H.R. 308..looks good so far..
as i get older this might be the only gun i can shoot..
if accuracy is worth reporting about ,,ill follow up.
right now its good for a ,,say a silver dollar size target at 55ft, 5outa 5.. think i can get it respectable at a 100, tho..
man target aquisition is very fast wuith this scope.

this is for you guys that inspite of the fact you really
like the way an handi feels.. you just cant get good accuracy
that puts you mind at ease.
put on the red dot. tasco pro..its got a pretty good rep.
sighted it just like a scope 308- i dont mind telling you ,i was getting frustrated with this gun.
got it dead on at 50 yds. this left it at 2 high at 100.
it now may be the best brush gun i have.
you can hit about as fast as you can with a shotgun.
also since theres no magnification,,it eliminated my hand trimmer as a factor. the fact that the guns real well balanced
might contribute to steadiness. but in any case its the only gun i would have a chance at an moving whitetail with.
