Openening day of rifle season here is Oct 21st. The outlook is excellent here with mild winters in the past. I am attaching a picture of my deer from last year. Hopefully I will find his big brother this year.

Good looking deer Bigsky. I've been kinda sidelined this year with some medical problems so haven't been out yet.

I don't know if I'm going to get the chance to get out or not, but I'm sure going to share the members hunts via the forum. I've killed lots of deer over the last 45 years, but I get just as much thrill out of seeing you guys get a good one as if I'd been there. Go for it BigSky.

When I was a kid I lived at Swan Lake and still have some relates there, but haven't seen them in years. I used to fish over at Kicking Horse lake just below Ronan, but it's been six or seven years since I got to go over there. I sure like that Valley below flathead lake.

Sure hope you get a nice one this year and keep us posted how you do.
