In the favorite optics thread the Pentax 8x42 DCF-WP was mentioned with a price tag of $369 less $100. rebate.
Does anyone have a source for these binoes at that price.I've started to shop and get quotes about $100. higher.

Bear Basin Outfitters is running a special on those for $239. I have only bought one scope from them and it arrived in a week (quicker than usual for Alaska), but I've heard some folks have had problems with them.

I bought a spotting scope from them and had no problems at all. They seemed to be straight up folks.

Sorry, just got back from hunting in MT. The guys have given good sources above. I got mine in NYC at B&H, but the price is the same as those listed above. I think the rebate runs till the end of the year.

If you get a set, I recommend you get a set of these lens caps for them from Eagle. The front Pentax are worthless; they work on other brands, too.

I ordered the pentax from B&H and the lense caps from Eagle.
$380 inc shipping was their best price which was$20.less than Bear Basin.I also get the $100 rebate.

Mine were about $250 as I recall. Good glasses, try Ray's Sporting Goods in Dallas. Don't have number but they may have web site.
