I had my favorite rifle reamed to Ackley 25 06 and was wondering if any one would share some of there favorite loads and what should a guy expect velocity wise over the reg 25 06. The gun is an older 25 06 matte black rem Sendero with a 26 inch heavy barrel.

the latest edition of the sierra manual has data for it. basically matches the 257 weatherby. i like ramshot magnum in my standard 25/06.

Start with a Sierra 117gn spitzer of Spitzer boat tail. Start with a slower powder such as IMR4350 or H4831SC with mag primers. Heavy bullets because that is where the 25-06 shines, mag primers because the AI is overbore and you want every piece of that powder to burn in that 26inch tube.

Go to the Hodgdon Data Center. They have loads for IMR or H powder. you have to select the powder.
