Hello, I live in southern Michigan and would like to find a good place to hunt pheasant. I have only been pheasant hunting once and would like to try again. I also love to eat pheasant and finding a good hunting place for them would be great. Any advice on public land or Hunter access land would be helpful.

I just went through Hunter's Ed this weekend and some people were talking about going down to Pratt, KS (South Central) to hunt pheasant. The populations are a lot better on the west side of the state than the east. Good luck on your hunt!

Yeah I grew up in Pratt Ks. Lots of WIHA land around there and usually tons of birds.

Might be kind of late, but North east NE has great pheasant hunting as well as Mitchell SD. I lived in Norfolk NE and had birds every where. Mitchell is the Meca of pheasent hunting.
