Hello gents,

I just did a slicking job on my 16" SS, .454 Puma 92. It cycles great and the trigger is so soft and nice. I fallowed the instructions from the marauder's site.

I took the gun to the range today and now it will not lift up rounds from the tube to be loaded, but the last one. In other words, when I open the lever all the way the carrier stays down if there are more than one round in the magazine. With one round however it cycles just fine. I don't think I polished off too much of anything. Did I assembled the gun the wrong way. It is like the timing is off or something. Looks like if I shorten the carrier it would resolve the problem, but I do not want to do this. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers,
Mad

Guys,

I got it. There was a spring on the left cartridge guide that I reversed. I took the guide off and placed everything the way it should be. The gan works nice now.

Cheers,
Mad

Glad you got it figured out!
I also slicked my Puma 92 up from the info on marauder's site, it's like a new gun.
Only problem I have had with mine is the heavier 180 gr. bullets. If I dont lever the gun with authority the carrier will stay down, I'm hoping it will get easier with use?
.38's and 158 gr. 357's feed wonderfully.

If you haven't ck'd him out yet, Steve Young at www.stevesgunz.com has a dvd he offers through his website
on how to slick up the Rossi 92s.
By all accounts,he's a good man to deal with.
