Any advice as to where to go for ducks on my own in the Chesapeake and surrounding area?
Thanks,

I don't have a clue about the Chesapeake area but I hate to see a post go unanswered. Starting to see a lot of ducks and geese here in N Louisiana. The cold must be starting to push them down. My duck hole dried up due to the last three year drought. My blind is so far from the water now I would have to use my varmint rifle to reach them. Good luck with the season. I do have a good duck gumbo recipe if you kill any.

Thank you, I'm sorry to hear you are left high and dry. We had a flood here 3 years back and the duck hunting has not been the same since. I'm sure they are somewhere, but they are not at any of my old hot spots. The flood changed the course of all the rivers and stream eddies.

Even here in Oklahoma, it's so warm that we are not seeing any ducks or geese what-so-ever....
