Can anybody tell me if there is any collectors value for a model 700BDL with the factory engraved reciver and floorplate'If so how much would it be worth. thinking about selling it.

Well Glen, to give a value more info is needed. Caliber, particular model, date code, barrel length, and possibly more questions depending on what the previous answers are. My gun book lists 12 different bdl versions, and at least half of which had some engraving. Also I believe remington's custom shop would engrave as well. If the rifle was mine, I'd contact Remington to see what they knew, as well as checking with several gun shops in my area. Sorry I couldn't help you more

Best to have someone that does appraisals check your rifle in the area you live. Giving appraisals sight unseen with so little information doesn't do you or your rifle justice. Even posting pix here all your getting are uninformed guesses.

You can look at some of the gun auction sights, but for a real estimate call around and find some real appraisers to look at your rifle.
