I'm starting to reload again after a number of years. All I will load is 11/8 oz. trap load and 11/4 field load, 12 guage, AA hulls.
The perfect load would be same powder, primer and wad. Is it out there or something close?
Thanks
Jim

Could be tough. Your best bet looks like using a WAA12 wad for the 1 1/8 oz. load and a WAA12F114 wad for the 1 1/4 oz loads. Winchester 209 primer. The best powder looks like IMR SR 7625 with possiblies for Alliant Green Dot, IMR PB and maybe Allaint Unique. SR 7625 is liked for low pressure loads, but can handle the hot and heavy loads too.
Bye

Take a look at Alliant e3, Jim. I never did much "target" reloading until recently. I've used Blue Dot for 30 years for magnum hunting loads. I'm now loading 200 1 1/8 trap loads weekly with the e3 powder in AA silver target hulls and I have no complaints.
I decided on e3 over Clays, Green Dot, Red Dot and other fast burning target powders based on the comments and feedback of others in various forums. It's clean and consistent. I'm happy with it.

Yeah, the Unique looks like it will stretch for the two weights with just a change of wad.
I used to load winchester AA white, ww 209 primers, 33 grains of Winchester 540 powder for both loads. Pretty simple. But alas, no 540 powder anymore.
