I just bought it this morning. Serial # V15xxx, so it's 1961 - 1962 vintage I believe.
Trouble is, it won't fire, and it won't cycle rounds from the mag to the chamber without some help.
Fortunately the place I bought it has a 30 day warranty policy on used guns. I called and they said no problem. I want it fixed, not a refund.
Regardless, have any of you seen this before? After trying to fire it I looked a little closer, and it appears the firing pin is missing. I have a 39AS also, and you can see the rear of the firing pin on that one, but this one just has a hole. Any opinions?
Also, what would cause the rounds to not be lifted up to the chamber?
