If your just target shooting I would suggest a higher power scope. My old Tasco 8 by 32 really shines at the range. Not suggesting you get a Tasco, but the higher power really makes a difference.

I get it when trying to post.

There's a lot of it going around, and I have had it block my own attempts to start threads. Some forums and not others. One workaround that seems to work some of the time is to start your post with a single word subject name, like "test", then use the edit feature to change the name after you have the post up. YMMV.

Since your post is on rifles and optics, I'll move you into the rifle forum.
