The Taylors are beautiful guns, but have heard of lot's of problems with them from people. Also thinking about the old standby Marlin. Any comments? Thanks in advance.

I recently bought a Taylor & Company and had some problems with it, shame to its such a classy looking rifle...I believe you made the right choice going with a Marlin. You saved some money, potential headaches and got a great rifle to boot. Armi Sport really needs to do a better job on their quality control.

Armi Sport has had QC problems for over 30 years that I know of. You could put a Corvette shell on a Kia, but you'll always have to order parts from Korea.

As an update to my Armi Chiappa woes, I have got it to the point it will now chamber and extract...Though the initial and absolute failure of the rifle to function is still fresh in my mind...
