Wasn't sure where to post this so stuck it here, was browsing pics of rifles on marlinownersgroup lastnight and saw some guns that a fella with the nic of Shum8 had restocked with some beautiful fancy wood, one in particular that looked like my LTD III but he had put a silver bladed front sight on and a straight fancy stock with cresent buttplate, it was exactly the look I've wanted for my rifle and the wood was incredible. I noticed he's a member here but doesn't seem to ever visit, I'd really like to talk to him if anyone frequents Marlinowners, problem is I can't get on that sight here at work and don't get on the computer at home was just playing on the wifes laptop lastnight. if someone wouldn't mind getting my email to him or another option is does anyone know where I can get wood like that for my rifle??? I use to have a site saved several years ago that a guy made all different grades of fancy gun stocks and forearms for all the lever actions plus the furniture to go with them, can't find him anymore, seems like he's gone under.
